Five Minute Friday
As I rush to catch up on everything during nap time (do I hear an “amen” from the other mamas out there?!), I thought it might be fun to focus my time for five minutes creating lists once a week on things that I learned through the week. Whether it be a parenting hack or hindrance, Italian custom or faux pas, or simply a new way to bond with your partner, I’d like you to join with me in this endeavor. So grab a cup of coffee and a pen and take a minute to relax and reflect with me.
After reading the week’s list, I’d love for you to add your own in the comments section, whatever it may be. I’d love to get to know my followers a bit more and interact with others out in the blog-o-sphere.
- ALWAYS have euro change on you, but never 1c + 2c pieces. They’re useless. This has saved me on multiple occasions. Like accidentally getting on the autostrada and not having cash to pay the toll, or simply to rent a cart at the grocery store.
- Unpacking an entire household solo with a VERY active and moving infant is basically the equivalent of torture.
- When you’re ready to be done breastfeeding completely, your baby will look up between latches and give you the sweetest kisses and smiles rendering your decision making skills moot.
- Life is simply better when eating a midday gelato.
- Although I hate the look of rolladens (what I’ve learned to call the weird roll down blind things), they’re pretty amazing when you want to block out early morning light.
Ok, it’s your turn!
